how have people responded to ur condition?

hi all,
there have been people that have helped me, but couldnt understand what i was going thru. the 'friends' that i made during uni, have not contacted me since i left even tho i give them a msg saying if 'all's well'. if anxiety as popular as it seems- why are people quick to judge u as a psycho (i'm speaking from my experience)
