 Hi on Monday evening some-one stole my car !!

But I feel blessed that it was only my car, they came into the
house when infact I was on here chatting !! and took the keys from
the kitchen.

I didnt realize until an hour or so later, I went to close the cutains and
thought why can I see block paving ! I stayed very calm because I knew
if not I would go into full blown panic mode.

Just a quick thanks to everyone on here who helped me to stay calm
while I waited for the police to arrive.

My car is my lifeline to the outside world. I feel lost without it. It was like
my security blanket if I went out it was never far from sight, I felt safe in
my old banger it hardly ever let me down.

I know have the dilema of public transport, and how I am going to get
about. I was doing so well going out for an hour everyday.

My sense of humour side is staying to me, "hey, ditch the security blanket
now is the time to go it alone !"

Has anyone else been through this dilema and how was it for you ?

Hi Christine,

May the toe-rags who did this be infested with flies.
I am making Voodoo dolls of them today.

:hugs: :hugs: :hugs: :hugs: :hugs: :hugs: :hugs: :hugs: :hugs:

Hope you get your wheels back soon.
Best wishes,
Chalky

Oh Christine, I'm sorry to hear this happened to you - what a nerve these people have :lac:

I'm not saying its a good thing that this happened but maybe you're right? Or would that be too much, trying to go on public transport? Could you try getting on the bus with a friend?

Hopefully they can find the car hun :hugs: :hugs:
