Hi. I was diagnosed with Anxiety and Depression last Tuesday. Will not forget that day in a hurry!! Saw a really good doctor who has prescribed some medication and counselling sessions.

I have had depression before but not anxiety so had no clue what was going on with me and my body.

Anyway it is great to find this forum.:D

hi this is only my 2nd day on here and everyone is so friendly and helpful , theres plenty of help on anxiety ive read it all good luck

Hi Welcome to the site turnthelighton.

I have only been here about 3 weeks but everyone is so helpful and
friendly.

If you cant find the answers just ask, there is always some-one who is
going through the same thing, and has made me realise I am not alone.

Don't be shy! People here are very friendly and there will always be someone who knows what you are going through and will help.

I remember having the same diagnosis as you and finding it all very hard to take in. You get used to it and you will learn ways of coping.

hiya turnthelighton.welcome to nmp. you will find lots of good advice here and make lots of great friends as well. i know it aint very nice when you get told you have depression and anxiety but a least now you do know what is going on with you and you can start the process of improveing things. hope to see you in the chat room.
