Hi Everyone, I'm new here but I have been suffering from extreme health anxiety ever since I moved to Korea six months ago from Canada. So far my largest health obsessions have been related to getting an aneurysm, having a brain tumour, HIV, ALS, MS and pretty much everything in between. I already suffer from GAD and OCD so health anxiety was not something that was particularly welcome- I'm sure many of you know what I mean!
My real issue is that I want to continue to travel after Korea, and I want to finish my contract here in Korea, but my anxiety gets so bad, especially at night, I am usually ready to hop on the next plane home (even though I am terrified of flying... ugh). I have a job offer in Germany starting this summer and I want to be able to go and travel around, but I am so scared. Are there any other travellers out there with any advice as to how to cope? I've wanted to travel all my life and I'm finally in the position to do it but this health anxiety is ruining my life!
