Ulcer!! How long have you had one for??

I have always suffered from ulcers since I was a teenager and I don't think theres been a week when I haven't had at least one. I don't usally become paranoid bout them. but I have one on my lip now which as been there at least 2 weeks, it may be more but can't remember. It has been quite a big one but its taking agessssssssss to heal so I have started to worry about it and checking it every 5 mins. It is healing but not as quicly s I wold like it to. its folded over ad its like a little flap of skin now with a little lump!

How long as an ulcer taken to heal itself? How long should I give it until seeking further help!!?

I get over and obsession with one thing and start on another :weep:

My sister has this, she has had it ages, he GP checked it and said it was a slight infection in the lip and it will go in time.

It is like me and my gland hun, the more you prod the longer it will take to go down and heal;-) do not touch it!!

If you are concerned though do go and see your GP for reassurance. I know how you feel so get intouch anytime, you know where I am.
