I have an underactive thyroid past 20 yrs, on thyroxine and get checked every 6 months and last one a month ago said normal rane.
I have always had a low temp it doens't seem to get higher than 36.5 and first thing in the morning it can be 35.9.
AS i have noticed this on odd occasion I have taken my temp for many years not really thought about it but I read that low temp can be a sign of things like adrenal insufficiency - I thought it was just that even though my thryoid blood tests say normal maybe I am always slightly underactive for me as underacitve thyroid give you low temp.
It was really cold today and i was out and about all day getting colder and colder and when I took my temp on getting home it was only 36. I warmed up and it went up to 36.5 but has now gone back to 36.2.
Is this something I should tell my Dr??? I did once mention it and she just said everyone is different and that was that.
