I have a mole in my bellybutton [! I know, I have a weird belly button, it's not an innie and it's not an outtie it's a midway] anyway I have a mole in my bellybutton, I don't think it's always been there but it's been there for over a few years and I am only 17 so I'm going to develop them as I get older right? Anyway, it's a dark brown color, but it always has been as far as I can remember and it has flaky/scaly skin all over it, but it's always had that as well and that goes away if I moisturise it. I'm just wondering if it's anything to worry about because of these 2 things? It's not getting any bigger or anything.

Thats nothing to worry about. Belly buttons are generally a bit flaky inside because of all the gunk and dead skin there. Also the skin cant breath properly and gets flaky.
Chill!

Thanks for the reply! Bellybuttons are lovely things aren't they? :P I wish mine would decide if it's an outie or an innie.

Don't really know much about belly buttons sorry but moles I do a bit.
I'm covered in them having one removed last year and being told it was cancerous I check them all the time this one was nearly jet black though.
I have alot that are brown to dark brown that are slightly raised and slighty scaly and my specialist that I have to go see regularly chops any off he thinks looks suspicious, only had two off so far so I'm guessing these look fine to him so i'm sure yours is probably fine but you can ask your doctor to see a skin specialist like I did when I thought my cancerous one was to dark.
i'm sure it's ok.
