2 weeks ago I was given antibioitics because I had tonsilitus.
After taking the tablets for a few days I was expecting to start feeling better and being able to eat again.
However its now over 2 weeks since ive had any appetite and Ive had a terrible taste in my mouth.
I was feeling really weak and really low yesterday. Ive been living on lucozade for 2 weeks. I was beginging to wonder what the hell was wrong with me. Why had my appetite not come back? I dont normally worry about myself but I was begining to wonder if id got something serious wrong with me.
In desperation ive been to see the emergency doc this morning cus my energy levels are so low and hes given me nystatin to take cus the strong dose antiobiotics I was given for tonsilitus have given me mouth thrush hence me having no sense of taste and unable to eat.
I just wish id been given a warning that this could happen. It would have saved me from thinking really scary thoughts about what was matter with me.

Take care
LYNN xx

Awwww, Lynn, I'm sorry to hear you're suffering from tonsiliatus, it's such a horrible thing to have especially when you end up with mouth thrush aswell.

When I suffered from these, I ended up getting this stuff from the chemists which helped give me my appetite back, aswell as giving me vital minerals and vitamins, etc. I can't remember what it was called but if your appetite is still not good, then maybe it's something to look into.

I hope you get better soon, Lynn!!

Lots of loves and hugs,
