started this morning

Hi all,

I started on citalopram this morning.I started on 5mg and was definetly glad it wasnt the 20mg as doctor had prescribed.

well done to all you brave people that started on 10 and 20mg :yesyes:

An hour after I had taken it I had to go back to bed for a snooze (just after 5mg) .I'm feeling ok otherwise

the reason i'm taking 20mg would have gone for 40mg is because i can't wait for anything!!!! it has to be instant success !!

give it time
citalapram has helped me lots , im on 40mg and the doctor put me up to 60mg when i was self harming but it totally spaced me out so ive dropped back down.
keep posting and letting us know how you go

Hiya Bet

Well done hun!

I am on day 15 now and even though I felt a little better after a few days of taking the meds I am feeling great now. I am back to my usual self. I am also sleeping better and its the best thing I have done for me.

I did not realise how low I was until now with these meds (20mg) working.

Keep with it my dear. I have a review next week with my doctor.
