Hi All,

I know all I ever do is moan on here but I am finding today really hard...

It would of been my closes friends birthday today that was killed a week before xmas :weep:Im so upset as I cant do what we would usualy do and Im confused about why, mostly because it hasnt sunk in what happened to him.

Ive spent all night crying as I just wanna hug him. I dont know what to do, His mum and dad are always around to see me which helps but they talk about him which gets to me loads. They wanna treat me like their child as we are soo close in many ways and we were like twins.:weep:

Last night would of been our birthday party but I ended up staying at home, I didnt feel right in going out but I knew Matt would of wanted me too have fun and think of him.....

I wanna go out today but Im not sure I can do it.:lac:

Please can I have some hugs....

Poor you , how horrid this must be for you , especially today.
It is still so soon since you lost your friend you are bound to feel so raw .
You do what you feel you can manage afterall you are only finding it so hard cos you cared so much , so try not to feel guilty eh . Your friend would not want you to do anything that made you feel bad xx

I know how you feel. A very close friend (also ex boyfriend) was killed in a car accident in 2005. It hurt soo much and I drank very heavily and took a load of drugs to numb the pain.
It will be 3 years next month since his death. I still miss him terribly but I try and focus on the good times we had and I still see his family quite often. His mum loves to see my twin girls.
I hope things get easier for you. Have you tried talking out loud to him when you are doing day to day things (out of earshot or people mite think you are odd). I found this helped get a lot off my chest and made the grief a bit easier to deal with.
