Propranalol and insomnia

I'm on Propranalol 20mg 3x a day and have only just realised it can contribute to insomnia, which is my biggest problem. Has anyone else had this problem and what should I do? Janey

Janey - I started taking Propanolol last week and I've found that I seem to sleep in 1 - 1.5 hour bits with really vivid dreams. I'm exhausted and hope that the sleep improves. The meds leaflet says that the symptoms should be transient so I'm hopeful

Thanks Clare. That reassures me a bit as I've (I@ve) been on Propranalol for a bit so maybe my problems sleeping are not due to that, just to my general anxiety state. Hope your sleep pattern settles down!Janey
