mirtazapine ??

Has anyone come off mertazapine ?? i have been no it 3 years now and i feel like its making me worse - the side efects - haedaches dizzyness eye twitching - eating (now up to 13 stone) nauseas - constantly - i really want to come off this now with the help of my GP obvously but just wondered if anyone else had any experieinces with it ?? :unsure:

Hi Jeni, I came off it a few years ago but had to go back on, not because of withdrawal symptoms but because the depression was still there and the medication was only masking it. It's not one of the more difficult medications to get off thankfully so go for it if your doctor thinks it's the right time. the weight gain gets to me sometimes but it works as a medication so I can live with that.:hugs:
