Hi everyone,

I'm Brad and i'm in the US near chicago. I've been suffereing from anxiety disorders formt he age of 19. I'm 30 now and just started wanting help towards the end of last year. I'm nearly housebound and need to work to survive. Its a daily struggle geting out the door most days.I rarely have full blown panic attacks anymore but avoid everything that causes anxiety.Just about any social event .
It's great to find sites like this and read and post to others about similar feelings:)

Hope all is well with everyone and feel free to email or PM me..
Its always good to here from others.

take care,
Brad

Being defeated is often a temporary condition. Giving up is what makes it permanent.

Brad ,

Its great that you no longer decend into actual panics. The anxiety is a normal next step ..

You need to keep rational and jhave debates with yourlsfe over these anxious issues and ensure the ratiional sensible voice wins ..

You can get over the next bit too

I agree with you Meg...

I have loads of conversations with myself....1 half saying 1 thing and the other saying something quite different....can get quite funny at times!!

Anyway Brad glad to hear you don't get the full blown ones.
Just keep doing the deep breathing excersises and you'll be fine.

KEEP POSITIVE.

with good wishes
