how often do u see your psychiatrist

just wondered how often do u visit your psych, or gp.

if u start to relapse can u ring and make an appointment to c your psych as an emergency.

Hi,
I don't have a psychiatrist but my doctor will see me whenever I need to talk.
I see him every 2-4 weeks.

I only see my gp once a year and then usually for other health probs. I see my counsellor once a week I don't know whether I could see her more often if it was an emergency she would try I'm sure but her diary is very full so it could be a problem.

My son was under a psychiatrist and only saw him once every 3 months and it was such a waste of time. He used to tell him 'to get into the real world'

I saw a psych twice and came away convinced he was sitting on the wrong side of the desk!
I see my GP monthly
