hi everyone gp said its anx attacks nurse said panic attacks ,can i ask how does your panic attack start ,mine starts with pains in cheast just under armpit ,then swollowing fast and constantley gat shakes ,does this sound like panic to you ,thanx for any advise ,

Anxiety and panic are brothers-in-arms.
Rather than focus on doubting your GP and the Nurse and thus stressing out,why not focus on the positive.
1.You have a proper diagnosis.
2.Your GP and your Nurse are experienced Health care Professionals.

If you accept this and you understand that Anxiety/Panic is a health issue by itself-not just a symptom of some hideous disease lurking in the background-you will be able to focus your energies on dealing with your problems,in a more positive way.

Finding a gp who I could trust has really helped my condition.
