Hi
Just thought I'd say hi.
Have had a few paniv attacks over the last 8 years. I am 25, and only really have the attacks when health issues are concerned. I am extremely frustrated to suffer from this disorder as I am generally a happy person, with nothing bad going for me. However, whenever something health-related happens I panic big-time. For example I had surgery a while ago and had an episode, and yesterday and today I've been having moderate renal-related pain which triggered an attack.
Generally my attacks last about 7-8 hours with varying intensity, and a feeling that I won't be ok even though I know it's completely irrational. I never thought this kind of thing would happen to me and its very unnerving.
Having read a few of the threads here I should just count myself lucky, but its very hard to. When I'm feeling ok (95% of the time) I feel stupid for having the anxiety attacks, and feel weak.
Anyway enough ranting - I have to see my doc soon, so thanks for listening.
