Do you have a racing heart?

Nearly every morning for the past god knows how many years, i have woken up with a racing heart beat, nothing too high, but enough to get me worrying and then the panic attacks start up.

Does anyone else get this... I'm on fluoxetine.

Hi Tracey,

I have a racing heart quita alot but iv been checked out and know im ok.

Mine doesnt tend to happen when waking, but when trying to go to sleep - think its because i had a panick attack then one night and now at bedtime i subconciously anticipate it!

Sometimes get random episodes of racing heart too.

hiya ...have you mentioned it to your gp?...when my anxietys on the go i get them (palpitations ) do you think that your tablets could be causing your heart to race ...ive been on medication thats caused racing heart . i hope you get them sorted out ..mention it to your gp ..they might give you something to settle it down.
