To Ilfracombe in North Devon for Easter:)

We are leaving early Fri and will be back on Monday:D

Going to a strange holiday park(tend to stick to those I know) a 5 hr drive from home:ohmy:

Whilst Im mostly cured still have the odd wobble so wish me luck:yesyes:

And those of you who are still stuck indoors take heart.....I once stayed in for 18 months cos I was scared to go out!!!!!

If I can recover anyone can!!!!

Kaz , i just came back from devon this week and its lovely there , just shows we are making progress doesnt it !

Well I survived!!!!!!:yesyes:

Got lost when we got to Ilfracombe and while trying to read the signs other half nearly had a head on with a van:ohmy: ......great start!!!!

The holiday park was rubbish(John Fowler......would not reccomend):mad:

The apartment was nice but only I suspect because it was new.....we had a lovely view of a puce green wall:mad:

Saturday I decided we would drive to Lynmouth.......forgetting that the roads are terrible...we end up driving thru Glen Lynn Gorge......on a tiny rd a six inch stone wall and a sheer drop of about 1000ft:wacko:

By this time I wasent having any panic just sheer terror.....quite justified I felt....so I had a diazipam:yesyes:

A couple of hours later back at the park I had forgotton about the diazipam I took and started on the vodka and coke:doh:

As a result of this I became very drunk very fast:yahoo:

Went to go to the loo in the apartment and missed it totally and ended up in a heap on bathroom floor, howling with laughter:whistles: anyhow hubby picked me up of the floor and Im black and blue all down one side:scared15:

Spent all day Sunday trying to recover:wacko:

Driving home yesterday someones cat shot in front of our car:weep: luckily I saw it shouted cat at hubby and by a miracle he braked and the cat escaped unhurt:yesyes:

All in all a pretty eventful weekend:wacko:

Hi Kazz Iv been to John fowlers,many many years ago.Dont know if its changed much.They had a pool and club house.We stayed in a chalet then,there were rows and rows of them.

You sound like you had a very eventfull weekend.:yesyes:

There is one road my other half hates going along to Lynmouth,he hates hieghts.He panics me,as hes worried then I worry.I do like Lynton & Lynmouth.:hugs:
