yes, I get this when I'm not breathing properly.
It normally starts in my feet and works it's way up my legs.
I also get it in my hands and lips. I once got it on the back of my neck and head when I was at the dentist completely panicking!
As soon as the pins and needles start I do a breathing exercise to calm myself. This normally makes it go away or stay in the back ground so it doesn't become a problem.
I know people say breathe deeply but I find that this is part of the problem for me.
Learn all you can about calming your breathing.

Hi Goth,

Have you read through the Self-Help section of the Menu?

There is loads of practical advice on breathing techniques.

Distraction is key,also-don't allow the Anxiety and symptoms free space in your head.Challenge the symptoms then get up and do something different to take your mind off things.

:hugs: :hugs: :hugs:
Best wishes,

Yup, I've had this too. Sometimes on one part of my face, sometimes my toes. One time during a PA my whole arm went numb for about an hour and I had shooting pains going up it. I don't know why anxiety causes this feeling, but it's definitely a common symptom. Of course, when it happened to me, I was sure I had MS or diabetes, but it was just anxiety.
