ectopics and the cold weather - help!!!!!

Hi everyone,

I have had these ectopics/palpitation things on and off for years, mainly on!!!!!! However what I have been noticing is that if they are playing up and I have to walk anywhere especially if its cold then they kick off mega...its totally freaking me out. It happened the other morning and then again tonight they were playing up and I was walking up the street and I feel like I have to put my hand over my heart area to get them to calm down. I do try the calm breathing but it doesnt seem to work.

Does anyone else have this problem??????

Have you tried coughing.
That seems to shock the heart back to a normal rhythm for me.

I do try coughing but Im not really sure if I find that works.

Do you find the cold weather makes them worse?

Not really Shaz.
They just seem to come when they feel like it.
I've had em that long now I've learnt to disregard them.

Hey,

Im trying so hard to ignore then when they happen however nope I end up stressing myself out.

I have just bought Claire Weekes book today so I will see what thats like!!!
