Left Pain in upper breast

Does anyone get that pain that when you breathe in it seems to cut or stab?
I also have it just sitting or lying.
I would like to know if you get it and is it gas related?
It is always in the left top of the breast but not in the breast - does that make sense?

I get this too.

The doctor told me that it is very common in females and it isn't harmful.
