Hi everyone!
I was diagnosed with severe clinical depression some years ago after suffering panic attacks and disturbing thoughts. I was prescribed cipramil and have been on them since. After getting over the initial and quite frightening side-effects i was much improved. So much so that i moved to england and worked for a brand of prestigious german cars.
Recently though, i have been under tremendous stress with my work and private life. A stray panic caught me off-gaurd. I could normally control them but not this one. It has shaken my confidence and i fear more panic and the idea of "going out of my head". Everyone with anxiety disorder experiences a "hump" from time to time. It will pass.
A lot of the things i learned in CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) has helped me not to be as bad as i used to be. I highly recommend CBT to anyone. I'm still able to socialise to an extent and able to work.
I hope this is of some use to someone.
Good luck everyone!
