I get the feeling that because they know I have anxiety they put everything down to that and for instance last year I was told my knee cartilage was ok ( it wasnt and I had to have an operation) I was told my heartburn was not serious and I didnt need to see a specialist ( it turned out I had serious acid damge to my oesophagus)...is it any wonder now when I have this throat thing I dont believe them when they say its just caused by anxiety ?? I get the feeling........ :w00t2: :ninja: :wall: ........they dont look at my WHOLE history and symptoms just try and fob me off with cheapest answer to get me out of the surgery.......anyone else ???

I really don't trust my doctor(s) (i go through alot of them)

I don't consider it just there doing, or just there passive attitude sometimes... I know I can just be so suspcious and paranoid with health problems in generally. I know in many ways I just need to forget about these things... I hate constantly talking about my health, and my own self-diagnosis.

I had a doctor I trusted for a long time but they moved sugeries eventually. It took me a while to find her, going through doctor after doctor... but it is definately worth meeting all your doctors at your surgery... they are all so very different. They are very oppinionated, and there beliefs do affect each patient. Some are anti antidepressants very much... others hand them out like boiled sweets... some are fresh out of doctors school, some are stuck in ancient practises... and are very stubborn... and losing the will to live sometimes and get p****d off with anxiety patients... which isn't right...

but your not the only by a long shot im sure...
