im new

[trying hard]

hi all, im new to the site and still abit confussed

ive been on seroxat now for nearly 7 years and still feel like im just getting no better:weep:

You say your feeling confused would you like to explain more about your feelings?

Seven years on the same drug with no improvement, have you tried going back to your GP and talking to him/her about what could be useful to you. Im sure you dont want to stay where you are for the next 7 yrs.

Please write again we are all here to support you and help you with your problems.

Hi Trying Hard and :welcome:

You'll get loads of advice and support here while making new friends along the way. It might seem a bit daunting at first but you'll soon get the hang of it. Have you tried other approaches to overcoming anxiety such as cognitive behavioural therapy? It sounds like a visit to your GP to discuss your options would be a good idea if the seroxat isn't having the desired effect. Try not to be disheartened as anxiety can be overcome with the right support and joining NMP is a really positive step.
