pain in my side

Hi.

Apologies for the unsavory nature of this post but....

I've had a dull ache under my ribs on my left side all day. Its around the area your elbow touches when you hang your arms straight down.

What I wondered was if it could be trapped wind? I know that wind can cause real discomfort and I was hoping that this could be the answer??? Has anyone experienced trapped wind in this area??

could very well be wind you could try some peppermint juice see if it relieves it. if not may be a urine infection have you any other symptoms

I have had the exact same symptom as you this afternoon which i have put down to trapped wind too. I had some cucumber for my lunch and it always leaves me with indegestion, trapped wind symptoms. Im not touching the stuff again !

Peppermint juice sounds a good idea, im sucking on rennies at the mo!:ohmy:

Possibly, I had a pretty hideous meal at lunchtime and maybe that has something to do with it. It's just really uncomfortable - not painful, just unsettling

do you get the pain often or is it just this once? and what side is it on?

Pain up on the left side can be anything from IBS, gas to pancreas pain.
