When i got out and the sun is shining, I find that this will make me feel slightly woozy headed and I feel odd (well odder than usual) hence whenever the sun is shining and I am out (when I go out that is) I have to wear sunglasses. The same thing happens when I am in a shop or somewhere where they have strip lighting!

My question is.....is this because of my anxiety/panic attacks??
Do any of you experience this as well?

I used to have it when younger. Not sure what the cause is, but it just went away on it's own.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Photophobia is a symptom (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symptom) of excessive sensitivity (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sensitivity_%28human%29) to light (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Light) and the aversion to sunlight (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sunlight) or well-lit places. In medical terms it is not fear, but an experience of discomfort or pain to the eyes due to light exposure.
Light sensitivity is usually due to too much light entering the eye, which causes over stimulation of the photoreceptors (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photoreceptor) in the retina (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Retina) and subsequent excessive electric impulses to the optic nerve (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Optic_nerve). This leads to a reflex aversion to light, and discomfort or pain

Yep, i get this too,
I think it is due to anxiety because apparently when we are anxious it causes our senses to be on high alert and therefore our eyes become extra sensitive to light.
