Hello people

Hello - just found this site today when I was googling, and reading some of the posts brought tears (good tears) to my eyes, just to find a lively site where people are so supportive about panic and anxiety. It's already helping me feel better, just recognising some symptoms, and knowing that I can come here any time or day or night. (I live alone, and it's hard to explain irrational fears to friends, expecially when even voicing them is terrifying)

I've suffered anxiety since I was a teenager. Am now 41, and a lot better than I used to be, but I do go through episodes every few years. Free-floating anxiety and hypochondria are my specialities.:dry: I had a few months of mild depression and anxiety recently. I thought I'd recovered a few weeks ago and was feeling wonderful. Then I had a panic attack two days ago and it's set me back. I am seeing a really good counsellor but she's on holiday at the moment so I'm just trying to get through the next week and a half by myself. Or, well... not quite by myself, since I've found you people. :D
