Hi everyone! I am a 24 year old married mom to a 3 yr old son. Right after I got married I started having panic attacks and entered thereapy. I have had successes in it and am striving forward in hopes of getting these issues under control. I have been battling OCD most of my life but the symptoms (as far as obsessive thoughts) have gotten harder to handle due to recent stresses in my life. Have also battled depression (and still am) but I am trying to remain hopeful that if I continue with my treatment I will one day have the happy life I have always dreamed of. I found this site while searching on the web and just reading some of the archived threads already helped. I was slipping back into a downslide but simply reading that I am not the only one who struggles with the thoughts I do kept me from completely backsliding. I look forward to my time on here and working through my issues with the support of those working through the same. Thanks in advance!
hiya and welcome you will get loads of advice and support on here and make friends too, depression is so common i had it bad years ago, walking everyday for mayb half hour or hour brisk walking helps loads and i lost a stone and it made me motivated happy and got rid of most of my anxiety and depression. i walk everywhere now with kids and feel great, mayb thats an idea for you i think exercise is very important in combating depression and anxiety
