New member, about to start councilling

Not quite sure what to write here but here goes!
I'm Megan, I'm 17
For the past 5/6 months I've had a big problem with anxiety and panic attacks. Sometimes I find it so so hard to even leave the house, and sometimes I can't leave the house at all. My breating gets heavy, I start shaking and I can't stop sobbing my eyes out.
About an hour ago I was supposed to go to work, but I broke down completely, I just couldn't go. I've said I'll try to go in later, but I'm not sure if I'm up to it.
I start councilling on Monday - 6 days time - I'm hoping this is going to help me, but I'm not so sure. I'm so so scared I'll end up losing my job, but luckily the people there are quite supportive.
Does anyone suffer from any similar problems?
I would love to hear from people who can relate to me!
