Liver scan tomm!!!

Hi All:D

Im diabetic and every 6 months have to have a blood test, the last one threw up slightly raised liver enzymes:wacko:

Gp said I should have a scan although he dident seem that bothered so tomm (3 months later) I have to go and have it done:wacko:

Not undually worried as I dont have HA but wondered if anyone knew what they might be looking for and how long the results take:shrug:

Hi Kaz
I'm a type 1 diabetic, and have these tests. It is known that some diabetics can get an enlarged and fatty liver, it's nothing to worry about. I have a fatty liver so have to be careful with what alchol I drink.

Hi Guys:D

Well I went and had it done.....seems GP had asked them to scan my entire upper abdomen:wacko:

I couldent see the screen but hubby could and he said there was a white patch on my liver:ohmy:

Like I said I dont have HA but can feel the anxiety building tonight and having to fight hard with the "what if "demons lol:lac:

So far I have resisted Dr Google:noangel:

Hi Kazz , Trust your bubby to tell you that (sounds like my hubby)
when my son had his scan of his tummy , I seem to remember there being some white areas , and then felt panicky and decided not to look ,lol.
It could be normal ?

I was chatting to my ex the other night who was suitably impressed with me having my wisdom tooth out as he had had it done too years ago. I asked him how long his took to heal and he said 'Oh flippin months' :ohmy: .

Now don't you be getting extra bothered over this - just wait for your results to come through properly. Usually if they are overly concerned they tell you there and then.

My hubby would have said exactly the same, he tells me everything or so i thought !
While in the kitchen today i found a big pastic container which he had wrote on "THAT STUFF" when i opened it it was full of pound coins !! Now he didnt tell me about that ! He wants a new fishing pole so hes been crafty and keeping a secret stash !! NOW HE DIDNT TELL ME ABOUT THAT !!! wait till i see him !! i wondered where all my pounds coins where disapearing to! I was blaming the kids too !:ohmy:

All upper abdomen organs normal:yesyes:

I have a slightly fatty liver but had a really bad one years ago and doc says its heaps better than it was:yesyes:

So I dont have to give up drinking or take yet more pills:yesyes:
