It was the biggest shock of my life and i started to feel anxoius just for no reason and it would happen at random times..
I had a more scarey panic attack about 2 mths ag (http://www.nomorepanic.co.uk/member.php?u=8043)o while goin through the car wash ( of all places) .. i had a sudden feelin that i was g (http://www.nomorepanic.co.uk/member.php?u=8043)oin to die and i felt dizzy and like i was not able to breathe... i ended up crying (http://www.nomorepanic.co.uk/member.php?u=8043) and makin the situation worse.. then as soon as we were out of the car wash i felt fine..
So anyway sorry to ramble on........... to bring (http://www.nomorepanic.co.uk/member.php?u=8043) this up to date i was at home last friday when i had a sudden feelin of dred and my heart felt like it was comin out my chest.. the beats were really intense and i felt like i was g (http://www.nomorepanic.co.uk/member.php?u=8043)oin to die.. my breathin was all over the place and i had to call my partner who came from work and took me straig (http://www.nomorepanic.co.uk/member.php?u=8043)ht to the doctors.. he then said it was a panic attack and checked me over... i went for an ECG and blood test yesterday and will have the results in 2 wks...

:D Hi Bella

I know how you feel although my attacks are not as bad as yours.

Have you tried distracting yourself and doing something else when you feel one coming on?

I do and also do the breathing too which seems to help me.

Take care

Hi Bella ,

I'm also new here ( joined yesterday ) but I can tell that this is a very friendly group & also a very informative site.

I have very similar symptoms as you described with your heart jumping around.
It is all very scary...I try to just talk myself down or out of it if that makes sense?

I even started just singing outloud like an idiot the other day just to distract myself...it worked. I think probably because I sing so bad I just shocked my body back into normal state. :D

Whatever works in the moment !

:flowers: Welcome and I hope you feel better soon,

~Rebecca
