The other nite I was on here worrying about coming off temazepam.
Anyway, I phoned NHS direct and they suggested I take a small dose then talk to the GP in the morning. I was reassured that it was a short acting drug and that any withdrawal I might have would not last very long and would not be severe as I hadnt taken large doses over a significant length of time.
So... I didnt bother taking any at all and guess what??? I slept like a baby and feel alot calmer funnily enough.
I read somewhere that if you take it often you can get a mini withdrawal between doses, which was probably why my anxiety was 100 times worse.
I wont be taking it again in a hurry, only if I REALLLY need it.
Im also feeling a bit more upbeat and positive.:)
