The orchid

I bought an orchid recently and placed it on the kitchen windowsill. As I was washing up the other day, I looked up and suddenly noticed that the centres of the flowers have shapes like angels.

This made me wonder - why had I never noticed this before?

Often we look at ourselves in the mirror and see something ugly to be ashamed of but if we look deeper into our souls you’ll see the caring kind gentle nature that is the angel within every sensitive person. We’ve just been brainwashed by bad experiences into forgetting it’s there so we now can’t believe others when they say they can see the good in us even though it’s right there within us under our noses!:hugs:

Hi Bill :D

I hope you are well .
I can just about handle what I see on the outside .
It is what I 'see' on the inside that I find so repulsive .
Perhaps I will see my reflection more favourably one day , when I have dealt with the 'rot' on the inside eh .
