hiya rick :welcome: to nmp its lovely to have you here :D . have you contacted ur local council about ur dla form ? they have ppl there who are able to fill in that form for you. as you carnt go out write down about the worse day you have had since the op and send it to them with all ur other details like d.o.b address telephone number and when ur op took place and what you can and carnt do for urself, and who ur doc is and the hospital doc. if they need any more info they will ring you. is there a citizens advice ? they can also be very help full. i hope this gets sorted for you soon. also how long has it been since the op and have they looked at ur foot again about all the pain ur are getting ?
best wishes
take care :hugs: :hugs: :hugs:

Hi Rick, sorry to hear all this. The best suggestion I have is to appeal against their decision. They will have written to you about what you need to do. If you are struggling to do this yourself, visit your local Citizens Advice Bureau. They will help you. Did your GP or a specialist complete the section "someone who knows you?". Get them on board to support you. I'm sure you do feel really fed up and with today being a bank holiday, there's not much you can do about this. Take it easy today, if you can. All the best.

Hi and a big warm :welcome: to the site, so glad you found us.

Im sorry your having problems with DLA, they seem to be everyones thorn in our sides.
First of all, base it on your worst day., then like the others said get a gp on board to fill out the other bit , this is important as they should take notice of the gp. You must appeal, thats the way the systom works.

I have had problems with them but if you appeal you should get it sorted.

Hope this helps take care

Hi Rick,

Make an appointment with your local Citizen's Advice Bureau.
Take along all your papers and ask for their help- which is free.
:hugs: :hugs: :hugs:

Hi Rick,

Welcome to NMP :)

I agree with Chalky - might be wise to go to your local CAB and see what they can do to help you.

Good luck :hugs:

Hi Rick
:welcome: to nmp.
Sorry your having bother with dla. You need to appeal against the decision as thats the way the system works im afraid. You can get someone to help you from c.a.b or from your local resource centre as they normally have workers there trained to help people fill in these forms. Your gp might also be able to help or a cpn if you have one.
Wish you luck.
Im from newcastle too:blush:
