Just thought id post and see if anyone else has this problem and if it is affected by taking ads, namely sertraline? I cannot get rid of it after trying loads of different products, my last resort is to ask my gp for a referral to a dermatologist as is really getting me down. I have dark hair so is really visible and can be itchy, with quite large flakes at times.
Anyone have any thoughts/comments?

cheers, woody.

Hi Wood

Not sure if this would help but have you heard of V05 Hot Oil (think that's the name) - I've heard its meant to be good for dry scalps?

Yep , I have this same condition and its called "seborrhoeic Dermatitis"

My gp gives me a prescription of OILATUM shampoo which helps me with this alot. Another thing is , the more you wash your scalp the better your scalp will be, because the skin can not build up causing irritation.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your replies. :)
I have heard of VO5 hot oil, and have just bought Oilatum shampoo though is bit pricey, used today so far so good so we shall see how it goes. I have honestly tried everything out there that there is so if this doesnt work its to the drs i go.
