hiya charlie,

me again,

i always have insufficient saliva in my mouth, esp when anx, so much so that my tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth when trying to talk. the more i am aware of this the more it continues.

when i was on lofepramine it was horrendous. it appears somewhat better on citalopram.

i always have sweets to suck or gum to chew and water to sip, otherwise i chew my tongue too.

i also get oral thrush when im having a particularly stressful time, due i think to either increase in sugar from sweets, or lack of saliva to cleanse my mouth.

my solution appears to be a change in meds and a reduction of stress.

however hiding in the house not talking and not getting into stressful situations works as well, but is not good for me lol,

take care popsy,

Hiya

Its one of the most common side effects of meds.

I normally have a bottle of water to hand or have some gum.

When im not as anxious its not there, although its been ages since iv not been anxious!
