Hey all.
Following my previous post last week or 2, about meeting Ness/Smudgie.
This week I wanted to try something different so me, Ness and her hubby sorted out staying at hers for one night….Omg, it sounds scary.
Right to the last day I felt I can do it, I had things to take and do and sort things out with Ness to find out what I should do etc…
On the day I was going to be chicken and not go, but I had my bag packed with things I need to take with me, and I didn’t sleep the night before, I felt ill with worrying about being in a strange place with strange people I hardly know.
But the morning came, I had college till lunch then meeting Ness. I had counselling too, while there, so I went to counselling and got loads out and was soo drained and everything, my tutor sent me home -well to Ness - After this I spent from 12 till about 3 in the shop, which I didn’t think I could get through in the mess I was in, but I did it, then went down to Ness’s house.
I was soooooo Scared of Her Hubby as I haven’t seen him before and didn’t know what he was like, but when I went in it was relaxed and the environment was calm as nothing was happening. As soon as I saw Chris I felt safe and like nohting will happen between us. (all the way home Ness was telling my bad things about him!!) Lol
But the main thing, The cats came to me and I knew I was best hands there.
We all sat down and got used to each other and got on with things. Nothing at all was making my Anx go bad. Just a parrot that wouldn’t talk!
The time was moving fast. Night time was coming, I couldn’t do it as I find it hard at home. I usually don’t sleep but I knew I had to try,
11pm - We were going to bed all ready, I had one of my usual thought about being scared and something happening to me, that hit me, I cried and having Ness to hold my hand till I calmed as I was starting to panic but I got it before anything happened. At 1pm finally I felt ok and I could lie down and try to sleep so I did, (although I had 3 cats on me didn’t help!) but I kept waking up. but I made it through the night.
Today….I spent 6 hours in Ness’s shop and didn’t feel a thing, there was loads of people coming in but I was just sat there with something similar to playdoh! I was having fun and Ness was doing it too. Then I came home.
Im just soooo pleased I had a good time, and the fact I did it all without going home. This is the 3rd time I have been away from home, I’ve never felt I could do it but it proves I can.
I just wanted to say thank you loads to you Ness and Hubby. It was really nice of you to have me stay there. Hope we can do it again soon.:hugs: :hugs: :hugs:
