Does anyone else feel like they have trouble keeping up their appearance when they're panicky and really not feeling good inside?

I just feel like i've let myself go a lot to be honest since i've been feeling like this.

One of the most common signs of depression is when we can't be bothered to make the effort with our appearance. When anx and panic hits it's often so exhausting physically we just dont have the energy or the motivation.

It's very common honest..I'm not called Pooh for nuthin'! lol (kiddin)

Take care and try and relax in a nice bubble bath if the mood takes you

I to find it difficult to keep up apperrances it's only natural hun especially when your feeling so panicky inside. I often have to put on a Brave Face so to speak http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/15/15_1_114.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZCxdm594YYGB) when all I really want to do at times is hide http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_18_5.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZCxdm594YYGB)

I think the key is to not try to hard and just be yourself. If I feel terrible around people I try to escape for a bit take a few deep breaths and squirt my Rescue Remedy.

Be easy on yourself.

Take Care,

Hi Noonoo ,

Yeah...it is difficult to keep up with your appearance when you're feeling down in the dumps.

You're definetly not alone when it comes to that. It can be a major struggle on some days just to make yourself get out of bed, shower, etc.

I've found that once I've fixed myself up, it makes me feel better in the end. I just have to give myself a good kick in the *~#.

Take good care of yourself :flowers: ,

It's nice to hear i'm not the only one. Some days I do try to make an effort, other days I feel like it just doesn't matter :lac:
