Hi everyone!
Im new here, ive been using a different forum but have bored of that one and thought id give you guys a go!
Ive been suffering with anxiety and panic attacks for about 5 months now, after i suffered a bad panic attack coming home from uni before christmas. The little period of a month or so after that i was terribly anxious most of the time, and didn't leave the house, didn't socialise much at all or do anything. My mum even had to go buy my christmas presents for people for me.
Since then ive improved a lot over time, i braved going back to uni after missing the first few weeks and being threatened with repeating the year and steadily have improved. I haven't had a full blown panic attack now for about 2 months which is good, and am much more able to do pretty much anything now. My symptoms were more of just general stress, and i had difficulty sleeping and other such things.
Unfortunately ive been struggling a lot for the last couple of weeks, with my general anxiety high. Saying that, mentally i don't feel too bad, im not a big worrier at all, and i've conquered some of the original demons i had when i was scared and confused by many of the symptoms of my anxiety. I've just been struggling a lot with the physical side of things, shortness of breath, mini adrenaline rushes, leading to tiredness and just being irritable. I guess some of it's to do with my exams coming up but im really not overly worried about them. Im just frustrated about this all!
Just looking for some support through a very difficult time in my life!
