is producing extra saliva got anything to do with anxiety as i keep swallowing all the time due to anxiety but now producing extra saliva please help this is driving me mad

I find when I'm anxious, I need to swallow alot.
.. Unless I'm in such a state I get the classic lump in throat and dry mouth.

All depends on my level on anxiety.

Hi hun

This was one of my daughters main symptoms, ohhh boy, when she was asleep it sounded like she was drinking a glass of water the saliva was that strong.

From what I was told the reason for this was. When her anx levels where high, the body made more wind, this in turn gave her acid, the acid would reflux up into her pipe, move up from her tummy, sooooo the body produced more saliva to protect the tube from the acid. It was the bodys natral way of protecting the pipe, (sorry I don't know the name of the pipe LOL) do you know what I mean?

This symptoms, did pass over time, working on her anx, getting to a more manegable level, this symptom is very phew and for between now, still may happen if she get anx over anything, but she maneges her anx sooo well, I am sooo proud of her.
