I am having some really irritating withdrawl symptoms from stopping my Lexapro (10 mg.) and I would be interested in any help or ideas. I thought I gave myself enough time to decrease the dosage, but apparently I didn't. I did not consult my dr. when I decided to do this (oops!!) and I am going crazy with all of these side effects. Does anyone know how long they will last? I'm desperate!

Hey, firstly I'll start by saying that it was kinda stupid of you not to consult your GP and talk through a reduction plan before acting on it, but we all do these things. :P

Severe withdrawal symptoms may happen in the first 2-14 days after you've stopped altogether. But I'm afraid some lighter and less noticable symptoms can last upto three months.

I think you need to go to your GP and explain what's happened. It's very, very, very common to get withdrawal symptoms of escilatopram (Spelling?) Lexapro and things in that particular group.

I'm sure you'll be fine, just gotta get past these symptoms.

Your GP Will know better what to do :)
Hope everything goes well.
