This recipe can be used to make pasta bakes of any description - i.e. bacon, tuna, chicken, vegetable.

It can be made with ingredients from your cupboard too!

1. Buy a can of Campbells CONDENSED soup (chicken, chicken and mushroom, mushroom, mediteranian vegetable etc.)This is used for the sauce.
2. Boil approx 4 handfuls of pasta (I use wholemeal pasta twirls, but you can use anything thats NOT long and stringy). I have large hands, so you may need a few more if your a littley.
3. Cook chicken/bacon/vegetables or open can of tuna fish.
4. Pour soup into jug. Add same amount of milk or 1/2 milk, 1/2 water depending on your taste, and mix well.
5. Drain cooked pasta, and put back into pan
6. Add chicken/tuna etc.
7. Pour over the soup mixture.
8. Stir
9. Add seasoning / herbs etc. to taste
10. Put in oven proof dish
11. Add some grated cheese
12. Cook in oven on 220 for 15 minutes, or until brown.
13. Serve on its own, or with salad

Quick and easy minimal cook meal in half an hour.

For each can of soup use :
2 x chicken breasts
1 x large can tuna fish
6 - 8 rashers of bacon
Couple of handfulls of vegetables

THIS MAKES A MEAL FOR 3 - 4 (DEPENDING ON APPETITE)

I BUY SOME FOOD CONTAINERS FROM WILKOS, AND PREPARE A PAN OF THE PASTA MIX, THEN DIVIDE UP INTO WHAT I WANT TO EAT THAT NIGHT, AND PUT THE REST IN THE STORAGE CONTAINERS AND FREEZE (AFTER COOLING OF COURSE)

You can re-heat this WITHOUT de-frosting first. Simply put in the oven (if in a silver foil container), or transfer into oven proof dish (if in plastic container), and heat for approximately 30 minutes on 220 .

ENJOY

Be brave and get the pan out Lucky - you really don't need any cooking skills, just boil some pasta, add some tuna and your soup mix, and shove in the oven!!!!

Cooking pasta is only one step up from an egg - it's just that there is a bit more of it, and needs slightly longer than four minutes!!!

Happy experimenting

Lucky

I'm not that technically minded!!! Our oven is fan assisted, and I cook everything (apart from meringue) at 220!!!!!

But then I'm afraid I work on the theory that if its brown its dead/won't give me food poisioning!!!!!!

Usually if you have put grated cheese on top, it's ready when thats gone nice and brown and crispy.

Just check it after 15 mins, and if you're not sure, just keep doing it in 5 minute slots! It's virtually impossible to kill yourself cooking this, as it's already cooked before it goes in the oven!

Hope you enjoy it!
