Anxiety, medication and Alcohol

Hiya all

I was just wondering what people's experiences were with having a few drinks whilst on anti depressants and beta blockers and suffering from anxiety.

It is my brothers wedding tommorow and I wondered if i should avoid the booze all together as I don't want to make my panic any worse or interact with my medication?

I went out drinking with the girls 4 weeks after I first started the medication for panic attacks, i only had a few drinks but was really sick when I got home for hours (this is not like me btw)

Have no experience in that whatsoever, but it seems like it might be a good idea to keep a clear head. You could always say you're driving if challenged why you don't drink (people sometimes pose the strangest questions to people who don't drink). Or simply say you're afraid you'll get a headache (without telling them of your medication or why you take it). Whatever. But the others will probably be too busy to notice....
