No Longer Diagnosed with HA, but instead OCD

So, I finally went to my Psychiatrist appointment and he said my initial diagnosis by my family physician was incorrect and in fact I have OCD. So he said the medication I am on will not be effective, which I already knew and told him this. So, within 3 weeks I am supposed to be completely off of my Effexor XR 150 mg and started on Cipralex 20 mg, plus some other things. Now, I am on my second week of dropping Effexor and am now at 75 mgs and it's horrible. I didn't really believe that I would have withdrawl sympthoms.....anyone else come off of this drug this quickly?

I just wanted to let you know that I came off Effexor over 1-2 weeks. I did have strong withdrawal symptoms during that time but they went away after that. Hope this helps. All the best :D
