Poking at them will make the skin sore and red and eventually swollen. Don't do it.:D

yes def does im a poker and proder and mine are always swollen

Hi there,

yeah alot of people here do this, it's very common with health anxiety (checking).

Try to break the habit of checking by realising you want to do it and shift the focus onto something more positive, we have to break the cycle of doing this when fighting HA.

im trying not to as its very hard not to just i have had a problem with poking my neck for a while and id lik to stop it but realise its the poking thats causing the gland to swell up any more advice on how to stop this and break this awful cycle thanks joyce
