hi:) i am new to dis site. i ave been suffering from :doh: depression and anxiety panic attacks on and off for the past 15 years. i was on medication various antidepressants but have now stopped. i do attend a psycotherapist and i have found that really useful. i still feel i have a low grade depression. i ave given up alcohol and i have found that has really helped. alcohol for me spurred on the black dark hole. lonliness and isolation bring about the flight or flight panic. i am a mother with two teenage sons and sometimes i can get very overwhelmed. sometimes wishing my life away!:mad:

Hello and welcome to the site. I am finding it really useful so far and have only been on a few weeks. Great that you have given up alcohol and it has helped. Hope you find site useful too.
