Hi there

You have probably heard this before. But a tretment for MVP is magnesium. There are proven links between anxiety and panic disorders in sufferers of MVP.

But of course it's important to stress that if you have panic attacks it's not likely to be due to a Mitral Valve Prolapse!

I think it's good advice to talk to our Doctor if we are worried about panic attacks and palpitations, just to put our minds at rest. But I'm sure that for 99.9% of us the cause is just anxiety!

Hi Witch, good name. I have added a reply to your other thread and my apologies if you are a genuine member with health anxiety problems of your own. From time to time we do get ppl on here who only want to cause distress with things they post so there can be suspicion for some of us too. Your 2 threads so far are a little confusing.

You havent really introduced yourself or shared your health anx with us...please feel free to do that.
