View Full Version : Tingling Tongue

I have had the oddest tingling sensation in my tongue for the past week... its in a centre line from the very tip of my tongue upto half way back. It feels like it needs to be stretched, but when I do move/stetch it, it hurts. Could I have spontaneously caused nerve damage by maybe biting it in my sleep? I don't remember doing anything to it, but I did have my wisdom teeth out five years ago... My lips are fine though, which is positive. My friend looked at my tongue, and says that it's the right color, but remarked that it looked like I had a pierced tongue(which I don't) since the two grooves in front were deep.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to make my tongue less tingly/numb/hurty? As is, it stayed for fours days, then went away for one, now its back....

Any ideas what this is? Anyone else get this?

Hiya

I noticed you didn't get any replies to your message but I have this as well.

I have two deep cracks in the front of my tongue which I am sure are stretching further back. I have heard it's a sign of vitamin deficiency.

Also sometimes I get a twicthign and tingling in my tongue although I haven't had this for a little while.
