Interview Tomorrow - wish me luck please!!!

Hi guys

I just wondered if you could send me some good vibes for tomorrow as I have a selection interview at 10am to try and get onto the Certificate in Counselling course at my local university!

They haven't told us to prepare so goodness knows what they will ask me!!

I am nervous but really excited as well, I really want to do this course so I'm going to use this interview to try and impress them! :yahoo:

Hi all :D

Thanks for your support.

Well I nearly didnt get there on time due to my bus breaking down and me having to run back into town to get a cab!! But I made it with a few mins to spare which was good :)

We did some group work - some thought provoking statements were read out and we were asked to discuss them as a group. The people running the interviews made notes as we talked.

We all had a 15 min one-to-one interview. I was so excited I think I overwhelmed the woman interviewing me because I was so talkative and happy about what I was saying :blush:

Then we had a written exercise. You had to write some things down, which you think someone who likes you would say about you. (So you had to write in the third person).

Then we had to write what someone who dislikes us would say about us.

Now no one has ever made it clear to me that they dont like me but I thought about "negative" observations people have made about me in the past and wrote those down. Its difficult though because you dont want to run yourself into the ground, but I think at the same time its about being honest and being able to acknowledge your faults.

Anyway, I will find out within the next couple of weeks so fingers crossed!!
