Hey everyone

So I'm supposed to introduce myself, so I'll do just that. I'm a 21 year old girl living on Long Island and I've been suffering from anxiety for about 6 or 7 months. There have been some serious things that have happened in my life and it all is just taking a toll on me now, and it's hindering who I am, and I wan't so badly to just feel like I used to. It's hard to deal with, but reading all the threads and seeing how many people feel exaclty as I do is almost comforting in a strange way. I know the human mind has immense power over the body and that's one thing I'm trying to work through. Im seeing a therapist and I hope soon I will see some change in me. I look forward to posting and reading and meeting new people and finding new ways to cope with my feelings and get better!

i used to suffer very bad with anxiety, luckily its fading, but i know it will never really go away for me and ive had to accept that.
there is light at the end of that tunnel though!!!

ive just recently passed my driving test..which i am SO proud of :noangel:
this time last year, i couldnt have stepped out of the house..literally!
